Experience
Kay Jewer is a qualified chartered accountant with over 12 years experience working in a variety of roles within the Jersey Financial sector.
After graduating from University, Kay started her career working in audit for Deloitte Jersey. Whilst there she gained exposure to a wide range of clients within the Finance industry primarily within Real Estate and Private Equity. Here she undertook regulatory compliance reviews, created engagement budgets focusing on recoverability and co-ordinated cross-jurisdiction audits. Whilst at Deloitte she also completed her accounting qualification.
After leaving Deloitte, Kay moved into a managerial role in Private Equity Fund Administration for a large multi-national bank providing a range of support services for a major group client. Kay was responsible for maintaining good relationships with the client and ensuring specific KPIs were monitored and adhered to.
Prior to joining Baker & Partners, Kay worked in Corporate Services for an international family office focussing on financial and management reporting for a portfolio of Private Equity and Real Estate clients. Here Kay was responsible for the production and review of annual audited financial statements in line with applicable accounting standards and also the production and review of complex monthly consolidated management accounts for a large luxury Real Estate group.
